Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Baez was a Senior Drill Sergeant in the United States Army,
and a Critical Care Nurse. It was during this time, that Mr. Baez realized the injustice that was
been conducted in the medical arena and in the area of personal injury. Mr. Baez decided that he
was going to do something about it, and the rest is history.
Mr. Baez was a partner at the litigation firm Ortiz Law Offices, P.C., prior to forming The Baez
Law Firm, P.C. Mr. Baez has conducted hundreds of litigation cases from the pre-trial aspect,
discovery, to trial. Mr. Baez has obtained hundreds of settlements for clients and their families, and
will continue to fight for the rights of the unfortunate.
Currently, Mr. Baez is the president and senior litigator at The Baez Law Firm, P.C. Mr. Baez is
married and has three children. He attends Community Bible Church and is an active participant in
the adult Choir.
Mr. Baez personal statement: "I was born and raised in Ponce, Puerto Rico, my beautiful island;
however, as most “Puerto Ricans,” I joined the military where I served my country for 14 years. I
was a Senior Non- commissioned Officer, and a Nurse in the Army, eventually, I became a Drill
Sergeant. While on active duty, I saw many wrongdoings by Doctors, so I decided to do more with
my education, and become an attorney. After law school, I joined Ortiz Law Offices, P.C. where I
quickly became a partner and in charge of the litigation section. After two years, I decided to open
my own firm, so I can fully devote more time to my family and my God. So far, The Baez Law
Firm, P.C. has helped hundreds of clients solved their disputes with excellent results. As indicated
